4) To see my favorite blog post ever published from this year click here.

Three Reasons why this is my favorite blog post is because:
  • I got to learn about a famous photographer who has witnessed World War I and World War II.
  • An additional reason why this is my favorite post that I have ever published is because I managed to comprehend the agony that the Germans have experienced during the two World Wars.
  • A final reason why this is my favorite blog post is because I became influenced by August Sander. His portraits motivated me to capture black and white photographs.

I do not necessarily like the post, I love it. Every image that I captured has showed me that I was capable of taking amazing photos. If I was not inspired by August Sander, I probably would have not understand the true meaning of photography.

5) If I had to choose a favorite photo from the semester, I would have to narrow it down to only two. There is a variety of reasons why I love the photo below, but I will narrow it down to only three.

  • The image uses the rule of thirds and our subject gives a luminous smile to the camera.
  • Instead of having the background empty, I decided to have Michael and Bianely in the background. The two show a close bond. This type of bond gives of a blissful feeling to the viewer.
  • A final reason why I love this photo is merely because I managed to obtain the skill needed to capture an amazing portrait. If it was not for this blog post (useful-links-for-portrait-tips.html), I probably would not have the idea of having my subject look directly at the camera so it can result in a unique bond with the viewer.

6) Another picture that I consider as my favorite is displayed below.

  • The image shows light and darkness, which is the kind of photos that I enjoy capturing.
  • The image is a close up portrait, which instantly reveals the subject to the audience. This close up came out amazing.
  • The final reason why I see this picture as my favorite is because it reminds me of a quote said by Marianne Williamson, she stated "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us." This quote is one that most reflects on my daily emotion. Every time I encounter difficulties in life, I try to remember this quote and convince myself that everything will get better.

7)Working with a group has its advantages:

  • Obtaining advice from other students on how to make your photos better.
  • Being able to ask others for assistance whenever an assignment becomes strenuous.
  • Being exposed to other students skills and knowing how they capture great photos.

Working  with a group, however also has its disadvantages:
  • Having to help others tends to slow one's progress in a photography class.
  • Sometimes a group can lack the motivation to do an assignment, and you must find a way to inspire them.
  • Being in a group can also affect how a teacher can perceive you. If a single person from the group is seen as an awful student, the entire group will be considered as an awful group.

8)"Picture Perfect"

9) Henri Cartier-Bresson knew when his photos were good because of these three things were aligned: Vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines.

12)A project based on the yearbook would be quite interesting. Having our photos on the yearbook so we can display it to the entire school can be amazing. We can also attempt to assist the yearbook class with their progress. After all, it will not hurt to help out the people who are making our memories into a beautiful photo album.

13)I believe Mr. Farley has a "Hecka Free Zone" because he does not want slang in his class room. If other students hear slang, they will end up using it. Not only will they end up using it in writing, but also through verbal communication.

14) Got it Mr. Farley!

15)Will do
